“She Works Round The Clock Until She Knows Her Customers Are Satisfied”
“Annie works closely with her clients and understands their basic needs so she can find the best option and match to what they are looking for. We only looked at the homes that made sense and it cut down any unneeded trips and made best use of our time. She works round the clock until she knows her customers are satisfied. I like that Annie also gives a good run down of pros and cons about each listing, so the future owner knows upfront about the details and make an informed decision.” – Neena N., Google Reviews, Five Stars
The review above speaks to our unrivaled work ethic. Annie Tran, our dedicated estate broker we have on staff, exemplifies the dedication our realtors strive to show each client. We won’t rest until they’ve found the ideal solution and are sure their clients are satisfied. When dealing with a complicated and at times challenging area like Atlanta, having a knowledgeable real estate agent that truly cares about your experience can make all the difference.
All About Buckhead
Today’s post, as the title no doubt informed you, is all about Buckhead — one of the best places you can live in the entire city. Today’s post will clue you in regarding attractions, community information, education, transportation, and pretty much everything else folks who are looking to move to Atlanta should know about a prospective neighborhood!
Let’s start off with a quick history lesson. The name “Buckhead” can be traced back to the city’s origins. As the story goes, Henry Irby, the man who bought the 202 acres that are now known as Buckhead, killed an ample-sized buck deer before placing its head in a location where passers-by could see it. Before the name “Buckhead” took off, “Irbyville” was the name most frequently used. We aren’t sure about you, but we much prefer the former!
Fast-forward to the turn of the 20th century, and Buckhead became a bustling hub of nightlife. Once minimum parking spot requirements for bars were rescinded, Buckhead Village became quite the happening spot, with noteworthy venues that include Tongue & Groove, Chaos, Paradox, World Bar, and BAR all coming onto the scene during this time. A decade or so later, Buckhead began to develop more of a residential, relaxed character in addition to the prime entertainment qualities it could boast. These days, the vibe continues to be more relaxed than not, but Buckhead is not without its fair share of culture as well (with a particular nod to the shopping scene).
Demographics, Economy, And Education
Buckhead is well-known for being upscale and classy. An affluent community, the western and northern neighborhoods of the region are among the most opulent in the entire southern United States. In fact, Forbesmagazine named it the ninth-wealthiest zip code in the entire nation, as the Robb Report, has ranked Buckhead as being among the country’s “10 Top Affluent Communities,” in no small part due to hosting some of the best shopping, restaurants, and most beautiful homes that Atlanta has to offer.
What’s more, Buckhead boasts the highest concentration of upscale boutiques in the entire country! Most are found in Phipps Plaza or Lenox Square, close to Peachtree and Lenox rounds. Beyond that, Buckhead plays host to a variety of hotels, office spaces, restaurants, and other attractive establishments.
With regards to education, Warren T. Jackson, Sarah Rawson Smith, Morris Brandon, Garden Hills, and E. River Elementary Schools serve Buckhead. Once the kiddos get a bit older, they can attend Sutton Middle School and North Atlanta High School.
Clearly, there is plenty to like about living in Buckhead, Atlanta.
As is the case with any big city, a key element of living comfortably is smooth transportation. Those who enjoy public transportation will be pleased to learn that MARTA’s Red Line extension was included in the median of the highway that connects I-285 to I-85. This means folks are able to take one of the three stations in Buckhead to get to most anywhere in the city. The Beltline is also a notable option, being a former railway corridor which encircles Atlanta that has been converted into a multi-use trail.
The Finer Side Of Buckhead
Buckhead offers some of the finest dining in the entire city, if not beyond. Among the restaurants we recommend are American Cut, Arnette Chop Shop, Atlanta Fish Market, Bistro Niko, Bones Restaurant, South City Kitchen Buckhead, and Maggiano’s Little Italy. With a wealth of wonderful choices like these, it’s difficult to go wrong!
Whether we are talking about Miami circle, Peachtree Battle Antique Interiors, or Bennett Street, there exists a plethora of antique shops on offer in Buckhead. If you’re less of an antiquing enthusiast and more inclined to boutiquing, you are covered there as well. East Village, The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, and Andrews Square all provide shoppers with much more ground to cover than might be possible in a weekend. No wonder so many folks choose to call Buckhead home!
